Job Description
The National Academy of Sciences seeks an Associate General Counsel to provide legal advice and assistance on a range of issues and policy matters. The incumbent will handle complex legal matters, provide legal interpretation, and draft and review legal documents.
Requirements
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of regulatory framework applicable to government contractors and the non-profit sector
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work within a complex organizational structure
- Ability to manage and maintain privileged, sensitive, and confidential information
- Juris Doctorate
- Six years of related professional experience
- Admission to the District of Columbia Bar
