Job Description
The Senior Director, Compensation and Global Mobility will drive strategic design, operational excellence, and holistic governance of all compensation programs for the Newsroom, Opinion, and Wirecutter at The New York Times. The role will also lead the Global Mobility function and a team of four, overseeing international transfers, expatriate packages, and global relocation policies.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive compensation experience
- 1-2 years of experience in Global Mobility
- Experience supporting a global workforce
- Experience managing and developing a team of HR or Global Mobility professionals
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Ability to influence senior leaders and international stakeholders
- Experience working with unionized workforces and navigating labor relations
- Experience with Workday
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- Certification in CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) or GMS (Global Mobility Specialist)
