Diversion and Central Intake Manager

A Diversion and Central Intake Manager is required to lead the development and management of the organization's comprehensive shelter diversion program, which aims to prevent youth from entering shelters by exploring and securing immediate housing alternatives. The role will oversee the delivery of shelter diversion workers, provide team leadership, and drive innovation in programming.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Child and Youth Work, or related field
• At least 3 years of experience working in housing and homelessness, including shelter operations
• Minimum 3 years of experience working as a supervisor/manager in the housing and homelessness sector
• Valid Ontario's full G Driver's Licence
• Valid CPI and/or UMAB and First Aid/CPR certifications
• Ability to complete a successful Vulnerable Sector Check/Criminal Record Check
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
