Youth Support Supervisor

A Youth Support Supervisor role at a community-based organization providing shelter and outreach support for homeless youth in Peel Region. The role involves leading day-to-day operations, supervising front-line staff, and promoting client-centered and trauma-informed care.

Requirements

• Degree in Social Services or related field
• 3-4 years’ experience along with 1-year supervisory experience working within the social service sector
• Knowledge of homelessness, mental health and addictions
• Valid Ontario Driver’s License, access to a vehicle and $2,000,000 (minimum) liability car insurance coverage
• Valid CPI/ UMAB and First Aid/ CPR certifications
• Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
• Cultural competency sensitivity and commitment to working through an EDIB, anti-oppressive, anti-racism framework
