Nurse Practitioner (RFT 1.0 FTE)

Nurse Practitioner position in Urgent Care Clinic providing timely access to specialized mental health care. Supports triage, assessment, and follow-up care for individuals in crisis. Requires Master's Degree in Nursing or BSCN with specialty certification as Nurse Practitioner, minimum 5 years of experience, and current registration as a Registered Nurse in Ontario.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Nursing or BSCN with specialty certification as Nurse Practitioner
• Minimum 5 years of experience
• Current registration as a Registered Nurse in Ontario in the Extended Class
• Specialty certification as a Nurse Practitioner – Primary Health Care (NP-PHC) or Nurse Practitioner – Adult
• Able to demonstrate achievement of the nurse practitioner competencies
• Able to demonstrate knowledge of relevant legislation
• Recognized leadership skills
• Able to work effectively independently and as a member of a professional inter-disciplinary treatment team
• Excellent written and communication skills
• CPR
• Valid Ontario's drivers license
• English level A- is mandatory in oral comprehension, expression, reading, and writing
