Job Description
Substance Use and Concurrent Disorders program provides inpatient and outpatient services for individuals dealing with substance use and mental health conditions. This position supports outpatient programs, including partnership with community bed-based addiction treatment centres and the RAAM clinic.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Nursing or BSCN with specialty certification as Nurse Practitioner
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse in the Province of Ontario in the Extended Class (CNO)
- Specialty certification as a Nurse Practitioner – Primary Health Care (NP-PHC) or Nurse Practitioner – Adult
- Able to demonstrate achievement of the nurse practitioner competencies
- Able to demonstrate knowledge of relevant legislation
- Recognized leadership skills
- Able to work effectively both independently and as a member of a professional inter-disciplinary treatment team
- Excellent written and communication skills
- CPR
- Valid Ontario's drivers license (travel is required)
- English level A- is mandatory in oral comprehension, expression, reading, and writing. Bilingual (French/English) is considered an asset.
