Job Description
Associate Nurse Unit Manager job at Parkville Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing Service (PYMHWS) to provide recovery-oriented care to young people in custody within a new voluntary Mental Health Unit.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing or equivalent, or Bachelor Degree in Nursing.
- Post-graduate qualification in Mental Health.
- Comprehensive experience in the application of clinical and nursing practice in youth mental health including risk assessment, mental state assessment, psychoeducation, care coordination, ideally in an acute or subacute inpatient setting.
- Ability to deliver personalised psycho-social care beyond the traditional medical model to facilitate recovery of young people.
