Job Description
Senior AOD Clinician - Custodial FYMHS position at Parkville Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing Service (PYMHWS) in Victoria, Australia. The role involves providing clinical leadership, dual diagnosis, supervision, and governance to a multidisciplinary team supporting young people in custody, with a focus on recovery-oriented care. The successful candidate will be passionate about youth-focused, inclusive, and recovery-oriented care, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in tertiary and/or youth mental health.
Requirements
- Eligible disciplines: RPN Grade 4 / Occupational Therapist, Social Worker and Psychologist Grade 3
- Relevant registration and qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience in tertiary and/or youth mental health
- Demonstrated ability to supervise mental health clinicians
- Sound knowledge of the youth justice and/or criminal justice system
- Understanding of interventions for reducing alcohol and drug related harm
- Motivated by youth-focused, inclusive, and recovery-oriented care
