The Royal Melbourne Hospital is seeking a Senior Community Mental Health Clinician to join their team at the RMH City Campus. The role involves providing support and leadership in the delivery of evidence-based treatment and interventions, ensuring the provision of high-quality assertive outreach and care coordination of services to adults experiencing mental health issues as well as homelessness.
Requirements
- Formal qualifications and registration as an Occupational Therapist, Psychologist or Social Worker.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of effective evidence-based interventions appropriate to low prevalence disorders such as schizophrenia, bipolar affective disorder, personality disorder, relapse prevention and substance abuse.
- Leadership skills including initiative, advanced communication skills and the capacity and willingness to further develop these.
- Extensive experience in the provision of specialist services in public mental health settings with a strong focus on local communities and inter-agency specific knowledge.
