Senior Mental Health Clinician

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join The Royal Melbourne Hospital as a Senior Mental Health Clinician. The role involves delivering evidence-based care to consumers with complex mental health needs and providing senior clinical leadership to the team. The successful candidate will have experience working with people experiencing severe and enduring mental illness and a qualification as an Occupational Therapist, Psychologist (with clinical endorsement), or Social Worker.

Requirements

• Qualification as an Occupational Therapist, Psychologist (with clinical endorsement), or Social Worker
• Minimum 5–7 years’ experience working with people experiencing severe and enduring mental illness
• Demonstrated knowledge and application of evidence-based interventions across complex presentations
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment
• Strong communication, organisation and interpersonal skills, with confidence using clinical information systems and IT platforms
• Current Victorian Driver’s Licence and ability to travel as required for community-based work
