The Salvation Army is seeking a Support Worker for its Bridge AOD Recovery Program to provide day-to-day support to residents within a residential recovery environment. The role is part-time (20 hours a week) based in Hobart and requires experience in AOD, Mental Health, or related community services.
Requirements
- Experience supporting clients within Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD), Mental Health, or related community services
- Experience working within a residential setting (highly desirable)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- A compassionate, client-centred approach with sound professional boundaries
- A current Working with Vulnerable Persons Check (or ability to obtain)
