Shelter Monitor

Assists residents in the shelter overnight, performs client intake procedures, and maintains accurate records. Ensures facility is neat and secure, enforcing house rules and policies. Communicates effectively with clients and maintains positive relationships with diverse groups.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• One year prior experience in security or social services work in a shelter or similar environment preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and maintain positive relationships
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
