Youth Development Professional

Youth Development Professional is a Part-Time, Seasonal position that plans, implements, and supervises activities for youth programs. The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or G.E.D. and previous work experience with children and youth, or a commitment to participate in a Professional Development Plan. The role requires strong communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Previous work in related field with Children and Youth preferred
• Commitment to actively participate in a Professional Development Plan including Level II & Level III Training
• Ability to deal comfortably with stressful situations and follow emergency procedures
• Ability to multi-task, follow instructions, and complete tasks in a safe and effective manner
• Ability to interact with co-workers and the public in a positive, professional manner
• Ability to meet attendance requirements
• Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language effectively
• Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing
• Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines and time constraints
