Disability Claim Specialist - IDI

As a Disability Claim Specialist - IDI, you will secure and analyze claim information to make disability claim decisions, including complex and high liability claims while delivering excellent and timely customer service. You will investigate, secure, and analyze information pertaining to claimants' medical condition, occupational demands, work earnings, business income/expenses, insured status, and other policy provisions to accurately determine eligibility for disability benefits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred, but in lieu of degree, IDI claims experience may substitute
• A minimum of 3-5 years of disability claims processing experience with at least 2 years of IDI specific claims experience
• Ability to understand and interpret all claim evaluation materials such as contract language, medical records, financial records and legal correspondence
