Job Description
Equipment Operator - Night Shift JJV position is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift or other powered material handling equipment to move, stack, or pick/pull merchandise.
Requirements
- Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods and OSHA standards
- Load, unload, move, stack and stage product and materials using a gasoline, liquefied gas, or electric powered MHE
- Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations
- Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas
- Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring accuracy for loading and shipments
- Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage
- Perform pick and pack, light assembly, labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as needed
- Keep appropriate records and reports to ensure proper inventory control and security measures are followed and maintained
