The Trade Desk is a global technology company seeking a Senior Account Manager to own and grow a portfolio of key agency and corresponding brand accounts by building trusted relationships and aligning account strategy, performance, and retention with client business objectives.
Requirements
- 5-7+ years of experience in online advertising, ad tech, or digital media, including 3+ years in a client-facing role such as account management, strategic services, or consulting.
- Proven track record of growing revenue and strategic value within accounts by deeply understanding client objectives and recommending best-in-class solutions.
- Strong understanding of programmatic advertising, measurement solutions, and the technical ecosystem, ideally gained within DSPs, SSPs, publishers, agencies, or MarTech environments.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging senior agency and brand stakeholders, leading workshops, and presenting to larger groups; fluent in English and German.
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority accounts and initiatives in parallel, prioritize effectively, and consistently deliver high-quality work on time.
- Sales driven mindset: able to lead accounts proactively, think several steps ahead, and move clients forward beyond day-to-day task management.
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer focus, including the ability to navigate challenging conversations, give constructive feedback, and deliver outstanding service.
- Curious and analytical mindset: you enjoy working with data, understanding the 'why,' and turning insights into clear actions;
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience preferred
