Job Description
The Lehigh Valley BAS Journeyperson Electrician will perform various tasks related to the installation of commercial and industrial electrical, electronic systems under the field supervision of a Foreperson, Superintendent, or Project Manager. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalency, a minimum of four years of experience in the electrical or building automations trade, and completion of a state-approved apprenticeship program.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Minimum of four years experience in the electrical or building automations trade
- Completion of a state-approved apprenticeship program and the ability to obtain a Maryland and Delaware Electrical Journeyperson License
- Ability to lift from floor to above shoulder
- Ability to lift weights of 0 to 75 lbs.
- Good work ethic
- Self-starter and ability to follow directions
- Confident, decisive, self-motivated, with ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the assigned work location/office
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Ability and willingness to drive company vehicles as needed
- Ability and willingness to travel regionally to jobsites as needed
