The Trustees of Reservations is seeking a Seasonal Camp Educator Counselor to lead environmental education activities at World's End for campers aged 5-10. The ideal candidate will have experience in outdoor education, working with children, and a passion for nature education.
Requirements
- Working toward a bachelor's degree in education, environment, science, or other relevant experience or course of study
- Experience in outdoor education, working as a camp counselor, classroom teacher, or informal educator with children aged 5-10
- Knowledge of or interest in nature education and desire to share your passion for the natural world with children
- Positive attitude and flexibility to changing circumstances and all types of summer weather conditions
- Embrace inclusion of all, and an open-mindedness to learn through new experiences
- Must be outgoing and bring unbridled joy and enthusiasm to work
- Able and willing to work outdoors all summer in variable weather conditions
- Able to lift 40 pounds
