Seasonal Lead Lifeguard

The Seasonal Lead Lifeguard will manage a team of Seasonal Lifeguards to provide a safe environment to the patrons at Crane Beach. They will be responsible for supervising a team, maintaining concentration for long periods, and interacting with the public. The role requires Red Cross or Trustees approved lifeguard training, and current certifications in O2, CPR, and First Aid.

Requirements

• Red Cross or Trustees approved lifeguard training
• Current certifications in O2, CPR for the Professional rescuer, AED and first responder First Aid
• Ability to maintain concentration for long periods of time
• Ability to interact with the public in a way that balances both the authority of your role as a lifeguard, and as a representative of TTOR
• Ability to run one mile in a sandy environment
• Ability to swim one-quarter mile in ocean conditions
• Eligibility to work in variable outdoor weather and water conditions
• Eligibility to assist with putting a boat into and out of an ocean surf
• Eligibility to perform some light lifting and driving an ATV or Gator
• Current authorization to work in the United States
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
