Job Description
The position is for a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Petroleum and Geosystems Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. The successful candidate will develop new laboratory methods for the acquisition and interpretation of magnetic resonance measurements of porous rocks, provide assistance and guidance to graduate and undergraduate students, and perform research in various areas of physics.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Physics received within the last three years.
- Programming experience with Fortran, MATLAB, and C++.
- One year of post-doctoral experience.
- PhD in experimental physics or similar field.
- Experience with electronics, machine shop tools, designing and building experiments.
- Experience in teaching and/or research.
