UT High School Teacher - ELAR. Deliver engaging, TEKS-aligned instruction in assigned content area(s) using the district's online learning platforms. Provide timely, specific, and constructive feedback on student work.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and two years of secondary teaching experience.
- Texas Teacher Certification in English Language Arts & Reading 7-12.
- Experience designing instruction and assessments for high school courses.
- Comprehensive understanding of Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), STAAR expectations, and best practices in instruction, lesson design, tutoring, and assessment.
- Experience implementing support for a variety of student group needs, at-risk, emergent bilingual, Gifted/Talented, adult learners, 504, and special education.
