The University of Texas at Austin’s High School (UTHS) Special Purpose District provides programs and services to help high school students, teachers and families across Texas and the world. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in education, mathematics, or a closely related field
• Texas Teacher Certification in Mathematics 7-12
• Two years of secondary teaching experience
• Comprehensive understanding of Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), STAAR expectations, and best practices in mathematics instruction, lesson design, tutoring, and assessment
