Join The Washington Post as a Senior Creative Strategist to help reinvent news and deliver riveting storytelling for all of America. As a strategic storyteller, you will translate client challenges and objectives into clear, insights-driven creative partnerships that leverage the full power of The Washington Post. This role will report into Creative Director, Partnerships & Innovation, and is a senior member of the team that leads the pitch function of the Washington Post’s advertising sales organization.
Requirements
- Develop high-value, cohesive and strategically-led client proposals incorporating original branded content ideas, live events, digital media and newsroom collaborations and sponsorships.
- Ideate and pitch custom content strategies that deliver solutions to client challenges.
- Manage the flow of collaboration among all stakeholders whose contributions are needed to deliver the most strategic pitches and proposals.
- Captivate agency and client audiences with dynamic presentations (in person and on video calls) of your solutions, sparking enthusiasm and inspiring action.
- Work with agility and flexibility across multiple client proposals and opportunities.
- Take initiative on proactive projects outside of daily tasks and proposal work, particularly on things that will benefit the team as a whole.
