Professional, Certified Coding Integrity

The Professional, Certified Coding Integrity Professional is responsible for all aspects of coding and billing for inpatient and outpatient claims. This role involves accurate claim submission, audits, correspondence with payers, and providing training to ensure the integrity of coding and compliance with regulations. The position also requires a collaborative approach with clinical staff and a focus on maximizing revenues through effective coding and billing practices.

Requirements

• Perform accurate and timely multi-specialty coding for daily claims submission.
• Prepare and submit clean claims to third-party payers.
• Respond to account inquiries from patients, third-party payers, clinical providers, and staff.
• Participate in clinical huddles/didactics and other clinical meetings.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of billing and coding educational materials.
• Understand all aspects of Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) coverage, coding, billing and reimbursement of patient services, as well as other third-party payers.
