Job Description
Theoria Medical is seeking a Part-time Medical Director to provide medical oversight for skilled nursing facilities (SNFs). This role involves participating in quality initiatives, reviewing clinical guidelines, supervising staff, and providing comprehensive primary care to SNF residents. The position offers work-life balance, no on-call responsibilities, and comprehensive support from NP/PA.
Requirements
- Attend and participate in monthly quality assurance and process improvement meetings
- Review and revise facility's clinical guidelines
- Supervise facility clinical staff
- Diagnose and treat patients with acute and chronic conditions
- Utilize electronic health record systems
- Supervise collaborating nurse practitioners and physician assistants
