Expression of Interest: Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Thiess is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join their team at projects in the USA's Mountain West area. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining various makes and models of heavy equipment, including Hitachi EX5600's, CAT 994's, and Komatsu 930's. The role involves performing electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs, as well as preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• 5 years minimum experience in repairing diesel heavy mining equipment
• 2-year minimum exposure to mining equipment (CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, Liebherr)
• Knowledge of repairs and servicing of various heavy equipment, including dozers, haul trucks, blades, scrapers, loaders, and light vehicles
