Job Description
Substitute Program Leader is a part-time position that works directly with a group of students, providing homework assistance, academic enrichment, and physical activity. The role requires a genuine interest in the growth and development of students, as well as the ability to establish authority through leadership, communication, and patience.
Requirements
- Experience working with young children and the ability to inspire and motivate
- Proof of graduation from High School or G.E.D.
- 48 college semester or 60 college quarter units required, or passing an Instructional Aide Test
- Ability to speak and write standard English in a public school setting
- Must be available at least 5 days a week (Monday-Friday)
- Pass Live Scan (criminal background check via fingerprinting)
- Provide a clear TB test
- Pass Advanced Math and English skills (K – 8) testing
Benefits
- $20.50/hour pay rate
