Job Description
Substitute Program Leader works with students in a part-time role, providing homework assistance, academic enrichment, and physical activity. The position requires a genuine interest in student growth and development, as well as the ability to establish authority through leadership, communication, and patience. The role involves creating a safe and nurturing environment, supporting students in making positive behavior choices, and engaging with children and youth through lesson plans.
Requirements
- Experience working with young children
- Proof of graduation from High School or G.E.D.
- Ability to speak and write standard English
- Must be available at least 5 days a week
- Must pass Live Scan, TB test, and Advanced Math and English skills testing
