Job Description
The Seasonal Parks Maintenance I role performs a wide range of tasks related to care, upkeep, and improvement of parks, open spaces, landscaped areas, and facilities. Employees may perform duties at varying levels of independence depending on experience, training, and demonstrated competency.
Requirements
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Have a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
- Knowledge of the methods, materials, equipment and standard practices of park maintenance
- Ability to safely operate hand tools and landscaping equipment
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with supervisors, other employees and the general public
