Video Desk Producer

As a Video Desk Producer, you will play a key role in our global video news operation, delivering accurate, compelling, and timely video coverage to Reuters newsroom partners and clients around the world. This role requires strong editorial judgement, composure under pressure, and the ability to manage multiple priorities as stories develop in real time.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in journalism, ideally within a fast-paced newsroom, broadcast, or video news environment.
• Strong news judgement, with the ability to remain calm under pressure, respond decisively to breaking news, and meet tight deadlines.
• A sharp eye for visual storytelling, with a strong understanding of video and multimedia news production.
• Hands-on experience with current video production technologies, including editing, transmitting, and sharing content; experience using Adobe Premiere is required.
• Strong social media newsgathering skills, excellent English communication and writing skills, and additional Asian language skills are an advantage.
