Nuveen Real Estate Summer Intern 2026 - Based in Tokyo

The Nuveen Real Estate Summer Intern 2026 is a 3-month internship opportunity based in Tokyo, Japan. The internship involves investment underwriting, research & analysis, and stakeholder engagement. The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as fluency in both Japanese and English.

Requirements

• On track for at least a Bachelor degree or higher undergraduate degree (or equivalent)
• Investment Management Knowledge & Interest: Academic background or demonstrated interest in Finance and/or Real Estate
• Technical skills: Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, primarily Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, financial modelling, and data analysis
• Analytical Capabilities: Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Critical Thinking: Demonstrated ability to understand business problems from multiple angles
• Communication Skills: Ability to translate complex information into clear, concise written and verbal communications
• Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in team settings
• Initiative and Ownership: Strong work ethic, have curiosity, and a willingness to take ownership of projects or responsibilities
• Language Requirements: fluency in both Japanese and English (written and verbal)
