Tilson is seeking a proactive and people-centered Human Resources Manager to lead our HR department and help cultivate a workplace culture built on family, respect, and collaboration.
Requirements
- Build strong relationships with employees and managers to support engagement, morale, and retention.
- Provide coaching and guidance on performance management, employee development, and workplace issues.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; maintain and update HR policies.
- Lead training and development initiatives that support employee growth and organizational capability.
- Oversee the performance review process and support managers in goal setting and feedback.
- Manage employee benefits programs, communication, and administration.
- Lead full-cycle recruitment and partner with leaders on workforce planning and talent strategy.
- Oversee payroll and timekeeping systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Serve as the primary contact for workers' compensation and unemployment claims.
- Maintain accurate HR records and uphold confidentiality standards.
- Travel to company locations within the state as needed.
