In Community Program Specialist

The In-Community Program Specialist supports the planning, direction, implementation, and supervision of Tims Camps Community Programs which take place at schools and /or community group spaces in their designated region.

Requirements

• University degree and/or college background in Education, Outdoor Experiential Education or related field/similar experience.
• Superior written and oral communication skills with strong time management, project management, and organizational skills across multiple priorities and projects.
• 3+ years of experience working with children/youth of various abilities, preferably in an education and/or outdoor/camp setting.
• Skilled in behaviour management and problem solving.
• Ability to exercise good judgement and professionalism when interacting with schools and community groups.
• Demonstrated excellence in program facilitation.
• Access to a personal vehicle and licensed with a valid G Class Driver’s License, or equivalent (required). Must have an acceptable driver’s abstract.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule which could include working early mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Occasional travel outside of immediate geographic region will be required.
