Job Description
TKDA is seeking a CAD Designer / Engineering Specialist to assist with the development of preliminary and final designs for various infrastructure projects, including wastewater and water systems. The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team on public and private projects, with a hybrid work arrangement (3 days in office/2 days WFH). TKDA is moving its HQ to Bloomington, Minnesota.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of two years of progressive design experience with site grading, utility plan and profiles, site development projects including site layouts, roadway design, vehicular and/or pedestrian access, and plan preparation.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel as needed for team meetings, site visits, etc.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
