Job Description
TKDA is seeking a CAD Designer / Engineering Specialist to assist with the development of preliminary and final designs for wastewater collection, wastewater treatment, water supply, drinking water treatment, and street improvements. The role involves collaboration with various engineering professionals on public and private projects, and offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement. The company is moving to a new headquarters in Bloomington by April 2025.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of eight years of progressive design experience with site grading, utility plan and profiles, site development projects including site layouts, roadway design, vehicular and/or pedestrian access, and plan preparation
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Previous experience or formal training with AutoCAD Revit BIM
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel as needed for team meetings, site visits, etc.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
