Job Description
TKDA, a 100% employee-owned engineering firm, is seeking an experienced Professional Civil Engineer to lead utility design and site design projects. You'll work in Downers Grove, Illinois, as part of the Rail division, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and managing projects from conception through construction. This role offers opportunities for leadership and growth while performing hands-on engineering work.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer in the State of Illinois
- Minimum of 5-10 years of progressive technical design experience
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Experience managing projects
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to coach, mentor, and develop less experienced professionals
- Experience with regulatory agencies and permit application processes
- Flexibility for up to 10% travel
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
