Job Description
We have a very exciting opportunity for a Development Project Manager to join our Place Shaping Programme, playing a key role in delivering high-quality housing developments that make a real difference to communities.
Requirements
- Identify, source and appraise new development opportunities both financially and strategically
- Manage projects end-to-end, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to a high standard
- Lead on regeneration activity and build relationships to generate new business opportunities
- Prepare financial appraisals and assess scheme viability in collaboration with Finance teams
- Secure funding opportunities and prepare bids to Homes England and other funding bodies
- Manage development budgets, cashflows and expenditure across schemes
- Oversee tendering processes and contractor/consultant performance
- Lead project meetings and coordinate internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure all compliance, audit and regulatory requirements are met
- Manage legal and contractual negotiations, including land purchases and build contracts
- Maintain accurate reporting and documentation across all development activity
- Represent the organisation at meetings with local authorities, partners and stakeholders
