Job Description
The Director of Marketplace Operations will own the system that matches supply and demand and powers program delivery at scale for Togetherhood, a marketplace connecting schools and community organizations with instructors and teaching artists.
Requirements
- 7+ years of operations experience in a startup or high-growth environment
- Experience in a marketplace, staffing, logistics, or other supply-demand matching environment
- Track record of owning and improving operational systems at scale
- Strong analytical mindset and comfort working with metrics and performance data
- Ability to operate in ambiguity and make high-quality decisions quickly
- High ownership and bias for action
- System-oriented operator: works within evolving tools and improves them over time, rather than building parallel workflows
- Leverage mindset: improves efficiency through process, automation, and tools (including AI where appropriate)
- Strong cross-functional communicator
