Job Description
The Legal Counsel, Regulatory and Licensing role involves handling on-going licensing and financial regulatory matters globally, addressing regulatory risk, and managing external law firms. The ideal candidate has 4-8 years of financial regulatory experience, with knowledge of financial products and commercial transactions.
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with 4-8 years financial regulatory experience
- Experience from a reputable global law firm (common law jurisdiction) and reputable in-house organisation
- Located in APAC time-zone with Hong Kong and Singapore being preferred jurisdictions
- Experience and knowledge of financial products (including spot trading, copy trading, margins, derivatives and options) and commercial transactions
- Regulatory experience including regulatory investigations, requests for information, sanctions work, AML compliance and corporate governance work
