Coordinator, Operations Support

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as our Coordinator, Operations Support. The Coordinator, Operations Support, will be responsible to support day-to-day operational activities in Toronto Parking Authority’s On-Street portfolio by driving continuous improvement efforts, supporting the planning, execution and delivery of critical operational activities, supporting the coordination of various cash handling and processing functions by leveraging key performance indicators, changing operational trends and best in class practices with multiple stakeholders to deliver an effective and efficient operation.

Requirements

• Post-secondary school diploma or degree or combination of education, training and/or experience in the transportation industry, operations, customer service or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years related experience
• Proficiency using all Microsoft Office applications, with ability to acquire knowledge of SAP
• Valid Class “G” Driver’s License for the Province of Ontario
• Previous experience using SAP considered an asset
• Knowledge of City of Toronto Municipal Code, relevant by-laws and regulations related to On-Street parking would be considered an asset
• Knowledge of project management process with a continuous improvement mindset
• Superior attention to detail, taking pride in accuracy
• Self-starter and independent. Team-oriented and results-driven
• Demonstrate complex problems solving skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, be tactful in all dealings, be self-motivated and work effectively alone or in a team
• Purchasing, payables, and tendering process knowledge
• Proven customer service orientation with effective communication skills (verbal and written)
• Excellent time management and organization skills, with the demonstrable ability to multitask while working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
