The Director, Parking Development is responsible for leading the development and implementation of business and technology plans for the TPA's Parking Portfolio, building long-term relationships with key partners and stakeholders, and delivering a customer experience that delivers a seamless parking experience.
Requirements
- University degree or 3-year college diploma in business management, operations management, or a related subject area or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ten (10) years’ experience of success in industries that may include logistics, transportation and mobility (i.e. parking, automotive, rail, or aviation’s), facilities management, or consumer goods
- Experience managing in a unionized environment, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Reputation for achieving results, building teams, and transformational change
- Ability to design and implement plans and work schedules to achieve organizational goals
- Sound knowledge of budget preparation, procurement processes, contract management and labour relations
- Strong working knowledge of employment laws, including Occupation Health and Safety Act and Regulations for Industrial Establishments, GHS regulations, Employment Standards Act and Human Rights Code
- A commitment to professional development and continuous learning
- Experience coaching, developing and motivating staff, performance management and interviewing
- Valid Ontario Class "G" driver’s license in good standing
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office
