Total Resourcing are looking for an Engineering Director to join our client project in Europe.
Job Description
Accountable for the overall leadership, governance, and technical authority of all engineering activities associated with the CANDU Refurbishment Project.
Requirements
- Provide executive oversight of all engineering activities related to the CANDU refurbishment project.
- Ensure execution of engineering works in accordance with applicable nuclear codes, standards, regulatory requirements, and quality programs.
- Fulfil the role of Design Authority for the Unit 1 Refurbishment Project (as delegated by Site VP and approved by CNCAN).
- Ensure technical evaluation and formal disposition of proposed design changes.
- Maintain adherence to CNCAN licensing requirements and NSN-23 norms.
- Lead and mentor multidisciplinary engineering departments.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide structured feedback.
- Develop succession planning and individual development programs.
