Requirements
- Current California Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
- Certification by the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Minimum of one (1) years of Respiratory Care experience in either an acute or subacute pediatric facility
- Ability to lift thirty (30) pounds without assistance
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Good work ethics and a professional image at all times
- Knowledge of CMS conditions of participation, CDPH state regulations, CCS, and TJC (hospital, nursing care center, and laboratory) accreditation requirements
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications
- Strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills
