Job Description
The RN Clinical Educator functions as a clinical expert, role model, mentor and resource in the clinical practice area, collaborating with other members of the management, education, and clinical care team to identify and address staff learning needs in a competent and cost-effective manner.
Requirements
- Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Minimum of five (5) years of acute pediatric clinical experience
- Minimum of one (1) year in clinical education and/or staff development
- Ability to lift thirty (30) pounds without assistance
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
