Job Description
Performs difficult skilled technical and administrative work planning and supervising water treatment, distribution, collection, maintenance, and repair; does related work as required. Work is performed under the general direction of the Director, Public Works & Utilities. Supervision is exercised over all division personnel.
Requirements
- Comprehensive knowledge of equipment, facilities, materials, methods, and procedures used in water treatment plant maintenance and operation activities
- Comprehensive knowledge of laboratory procedures and practices for testing water samples
- Ability to plan and supervise daily operations and subordinate staff
- Ability to operate and maintain water treatment equipment
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
