Job Description
Toyon Research Corporation is seeking a talented Fluids Engineer to take immediate ownership of propulsion hardware design as a Responsible Engineer. The Fluids Engineer will be responsible for design, development, and validation of fluid and mechanical systems, as well as technical guidance and mentoring of mechanical and electrical engineers responsible for associated hardware.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role
- Experience with high pressure systems
- Working knowledge of and hands on experience with fluid, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Demonstrated proficiency using parametric CAD for both design and drawings
- Experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing per ASME Y 14.5
- Strong understanding of industry standards and requirements
- Ability to delegate tasks and lead large project scope
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Exceptional problem-solving skills
