Job Description
TreeHouse Foods is seeking an Associate Quality Specialist to support food safety and quality compliance efforts. The role involves implementing regulatory, GFSI, and company policies and procedures, monitoring compliance-related issues, and maintaining records. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in food science or a related field, and 1-2 years of quality experience in a food manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in food science, Biology, or a related field
- One to two years of quality experience in a food manufacturing environment
- SQF Practitioner certification and Food Defense Program leadership experience preferred
- Familiarity with food safety systems (GMP, HACCP, GFSI) and regulatory guidelines (FDA, USDA)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with documentation and reporting
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Experience using Microsoft Office
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP) is preferred
