We are looking for an experienced and skilled A-Class Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in operating and maintaining a variety of precision machines, including CNC machines, lathes, and mills.
Requirements
- Machining Operations: Operate CNC machines, lathes, mills, grinders, and other precision equipment to fabricate metal components according to blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret complex technical drawings, schematics, and work orders to determine machining requirements and make necessary adjustments to equipment.
- Tool Setup & Calibration: Set up and calibrate machines, tools, and workpieces for each job, ensuring the correct tools are used and machines are properly aligned.
- Quality Control: Inspect parts during and after machining to ensure they meet required tolerances and specifications. Use measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify part quality.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot any issues with machinery, adjusting settings or replacing parts as needed.
- Process Optimization: Continuously monitor and adjust machine settings to improve efficiency and product quality. Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste and enhance productivity.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and protocols while operating machinery. Ensure the work environment is clean and organized to maintain safety standards.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production runs, machine settings, and materials used. Report production data and any issues to supervisors or managers.
- Collaboration: Work closely with team members, engineers, and supervisors to meet production goals and resolve any technical challenges.
