Job Description
Trimble is looking for a Mechanical-Optical Design Engineer to lead the creation of next-generation robotic total stations and laser scanners, using cutting-edge AI and 3D printing to solve complex industrial challenges. The role involves developing world-leading geodetic instruments, integrating advanced AI methodologies, and ensuring sub-millimeter precision.
Requirements
- Fluency in both German and English
- Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or Precision Engineering
- Expert-level proficiency in CAD software, specifically CREO 10 and CREO Simulate
- Proven track record in design of mechanical and optical assemblies for high-precision instruments
- Experience in failure analysis and quality department support
- Specialized knowledge in 3D printing materials for industrial prototyping
- Previous experience with "Agile" PLM software
