Recreational Therapist

Plan and implement therapeutic recreational activities for participants with Alzheimer's and related dementia, manage daily operations of the recreational therapy department, and lead quality assessment and performance improvement activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Recreation Therapy related field OR NCCAP Activity Professionals Certification
• Minimum of two (2) years demonstrated experience in therapeutic recreation related services with geriatric population
• Minimum of one (1) year documented experience working with a frail or elderly population
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, conflict management, problem solving, critical thinking and customer service skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiar with email and calendaring systems
